Despite all the leaks and reports, finally Xiaomi has launched their new smartphone Mi 5C in the China. This is an extra special device because it is equipped with the company’s first own and in house processor “Surge S1”, and its clock speed is 2.2 GHz.

Metal Unibody smartphone Mi 5C has been priced at CNY 1499 (Around rupees 14600). It will be available in China from 3rd March in Rose Gold, Gold and Black colour variant. This is the upgraded or next version of the Mi 4C which is equipped with Surge S1 processor first time and it has 3GB RAM as well.

This Dual SIM smartphone comes with a 5.15 inch full HD curved glass display, 64 GB internal storage and has equipped with a 2860 mAh battery with fast charging support.

The new MI 5C is running on company’s own user interface MIUI8 skinned on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and company said that the device will be able to get the Android 7.1 Nougat update in the march.

And, if we talk about the camera then it has a 12 Megapixel camera equipped with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It sports an f/2.0 aperture 8 Megapixel front camera with 27mm wide angle lens support. The smartphone features a fingerprint scanner infused within the device’s home button in the front of the device.

For connectivity options, the new Mi 5C has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. In this smartphone, the newly came processor improves the Smartphone’s quality of photography and it will also deliver the smooth voice quality during the phone calls.

Mi 5C is looking really pretty and powerful in terms of on paper specifications and Xiaomi is already known for producing high quality smartphones, especially in its Mi series smartphones category.

A wait is worth to see that how the device will perform in the market and how it will be compete with its present and upcoming predecessors in the market.
