Chinese tech giant Xiaomi launched a lot of new ecosystem products in India in a launch event today at Bangalore. The launch was called as “#SmarterLiving” by the company and held on Bangalore on 27th September 2018.
So, without wasting time, let’s see the latest products from Xiaomi in India…
1. Mi Band 3
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is the new wearable in India comes with a 0.78 inches touchscreen display. This is the first smart band from the company in India having a 2.5D curved design touchscreen display with the recessed control button. The Mi Band 3 has 85% larger display size as compared to the Mi Band 2. The new wearable lets you receive WhatsApp notifications instantly, check the 3-day weather forecast, tap and hold to decline calls and lot of more.
The band comes with a Hypoallergenic durable and ultra-lightweight silicone strap weighs just 20 grams. The Band is water resistant up to 50 meters and has a 110 mAh battery lasts up to 20 days. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Band 3 offers 3x longer battery life in comparison with Fitbit Charge 2 and Garmin Vivosmart 3.
Health tracking features remain the same and you can track your Heart rate, steps, sleep, and activity tracking with this new band. Xiaomi also launched 3 new stylish band straps in trendy colors. The Mi Band 3 is launched in India at 1,999 INR and the first sale of the device is on 28th September 2018 at 12 noon on Mi.com and Amazon.

2. Mi Air Purifier 2S
The Mi Air Purifier 2S is launched in India with a tagline “The smarter way to breathe” and comes with an all-around upgrade. The purifier 2S has a Digital OLED Display, precise air purification, and smarter home integration features. The ultra-clear OLED digital display provides shows you the real-time air quality and display also comes with an auto brightness adjustment feature as well.
The purifier is capable to filter out the 2.5 mm sized or PM 2.5 hazardous particles through its higher precision laser sensor, which detects particles of less than 0.3 µm (micron-meters) in the air. The purifier is capable to filter those particles with a 360° triple-layer filter, meanwhile, it removes PM 2.5 matters, allergens, and bacteria and other harmful matters too. The purifier comes with a 310m³/h Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).
The new purifier supports the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa integration and can control it with any device supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, or you can also use the Mi Home app to control the purifier. The purifier is very energy efficient and consumes only 4.8W in night mode which is up to 3x more efficient than energy-saving light bulbs and it is extremely quiet also and reduces a noise of just 30 dB in night mode which is quite like a gentle breeze.

3. Mi Luggage
The Mi Luggage is the Xiaomi’s very latest category in India. The Mi Luggage comes with a scratch resistant Honeycomb design (Bayor Makrolon™ Polycarbonate) and has a TSA approved lock for improved safety. The travel bag also comes with shock absorbent and wear-resistant wheels with 360° rotation dual spinner wheels and TPE material. It comes with 4 stops adjustable handle and you can use it in 4 adjustable heights. The Luggage comes in 2 sizes, first one is Mi Luggage 20 (20 inches) and the second one is Mi Luggage 24 (24 inches) and both of the luggage comes in different colors.

4. Mi Home Security Camera 360°
This is again another new category which Xiaomi introduces in India and this is the new product is called the “Mi Home Security Camera 360°” to protect your home. This camera comes with a dual-motor and lets you see the full view of the room. The camera comes with a 360° viewing angle field and has an AI motion detection technology to detect any changes or movements in the room. The camera also comes with an infrared night vision which means you can monitor your home even in darkness. This camera can record videos at 1080p full HD resolution with a 2x zoom and it supports a 64 GB microSD expandable storage slot and has 2-way audio features also.
The device is priced at 2,699 and the first sale of the device is on 10th October 2018 at midnight on Mi.com, Amazon, and Flipkart.

5. Mi LED TV 4 Pro, 4A Pro, and 4C Pro
The new Mi LED TV 4 Pro, 4A Pro, and 4C Pro is launched in India today with lots of great improvements. This time the company has updated their Mi Smart TV OS called “PatchWall OS” and integrated it with Android TV based on Android Oreo 8.1 with a physical button to switch between the 2 interfaces. Another best feature of the TV is the “Voice Search” feature which uses the new Bluetooth remote and Google voice to let users navigate the TV by just using the voice commands.
Also, this time PatchWall is syncing with your DTH set-top-box and lets you use Google Assistant to launch a particular program on a particular channel. All these TVs are powered by the company’s own and the latest Amlogic chipset accompanied by 2 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, 3 HDMI, and 2 USB ports.
The Mi TV 4 Pro comes with the HDR and 4K while the rest comes with FHD resolution only.
