Xiaomi launched 3 new smartphones in India today named “Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6 Pro” and the series is called Redmi 6 series. Redmi 6 series is the company’s new budget smartphones series in India. Redmi 6 and 6A is available in India at an introductory price for 2 months and later on, we can see some changes in the pricing, but, completely depends upon the company itself.

Redmi 6A comes in 2 variants, one is with 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage priced at INR 5999, and the other one is with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage priced at INR 6999. The smartphone is available to buy on Amazon and Mi.com on 19th September.

Redmi 6A is touted as the “Desh ka Naya smartphone” which comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 ratio display powered by Mediatek Helio A22 chipset on board. The smartphone comes with a 13 MP single camera at the back with the f/2.2 aperture; it comes with a 5 MP front camera as well to take great selfies.

The smartphone is juiced by a 3000 mAh battery and the device is running on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone comes with a face lock feature along with the fingerprint sensor as well at the back of the device.

Connectivity features including 4G support for VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, micro USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is available in four colours as follows, Black, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold.
